We have been honored to facilitate transformative retreats for groups of nurses, physicians, therapists and other caregivers alike since 2018. The retreat space is where we first planted seeds as an organization and have been grateful to witness the sprouting transformation among participants and facilitators.
Surrounded by nature’s breathtaking landscapes, our network of world-renowned healers, educators, facilitators, and artists offers practical tools and unparalleled teachings all being held in a supportive community setting of deep intention.

Continuing Education Offerings
We create and facilitate groundbreaking educational experiences, training, and content for healthcare providers to expand their awareness of emerging therapies for health and wellbeing. We bridge the science behind ancient and traditional medicines from around the world in a way that is digestible for practitioners trained in the West and maintains cultural integrity, respect, and honoring of the lineages from which these medicines originate. With the support of our partners, we have been able to offer continuing education units for the following playshops: Psychedelic Assisted Therapy, Medical Tai Chi, Plant-based Nutrition, Ayurveda, Somatic Movement, Mindfulness and Stress Management, the Science of Play, and Cultivating Joy.

Some of our playful expert guided classes have included: hula hoop dancing, painting, Mandala beadwork, music therapy, Yoga, breath-work, and meditation.
Regenerative Healthcare Spaces
When a couple of pediatric critical care nurses identified the need for a quiet, reflective space to decompress, during their intense work shifts, Cultivating Self was there to engage decision makers and advocate for this vision to come to fruition.
Working directly with the incredible support of hospital administration, we allocated a designated space, and received donations from the hospital’s foundation to remodel and furnish the new space. Intentionally curated to induce sensations of deep relaxation and ease, this room was quickly transformed, now offering peace and tranquility in the center of a generally chaotic and high stress setting.
The Reset Room remains a sanctuary for all hospital staff to utilize 24/7. We still receive selfies and messages from nurses and others sharing their gratitude for the creation of this very special room.
Keynote Presentations & Immersive Group Experiences
We are available for conference keynote speeches and can also offer immersive playshops (1-2 hours) for your company, organization, clinic, or community. These experiences bring practical tools to support various aspects of wellbeing through dynamic facilitation. Workshops range from Laughter Neuroplasticity, Meditation, Yin Yoga, Mindfulness, Burnout, Compassion fatigue, or moral injury circle facilitation
